As an integrative provider, Dr. Sunhee has worked in a private office setting as well as in a hospital setting. She has extensive knowledge and experience working with patients to address multiple health concerns including, but not limited to, providing oncology support, effectively managing pain, resolving digestive issues, correcting hormonal imbalances, improving metabolism, reducing anxiety and assisting patients to reach their goal of healthy weight.

She shares her commitment in providing excellent quality of patient care; a comprehensive care that is individualized to address patient’s immediate health concerns, underlying causes and maintaining positive end results.

She also promises that each patient’s concerns will be addressed with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Dr. Sunhee graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from Methodist University in 2002. She has also earned a Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the prestigious Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington in 2009.

She is one of a limited number of naturopathic doctors to have completed a board-certified, hospital-based residency program in Integrative Oncology. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO), the lead accreditation for advanced training in both naturopathic and conventional medical treatments of cancer.

Dr. Sunhee currently holds an active Naturopathic Physician license in the state of Washington, an Acupuncture license and a Certified Nutrition Specialist license in the state of Illinois. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians and Certified Diplomate of National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
